What changed in Genshin Impact 6th Anniversary 1010.0-wv?
What did the latest Genshin Impact 6th Anniversary APK add? According to the release notes, version 1010.0-wv arrived on Oct. 7, 2026 with new characters, new story content, events, weapons, an enemy, and Miliastra Wonderland updates.
The developer, COGNOSPHERE PTE. LTD., listed the update as version 7.1 “A Rekviem for the Underworld.” The notes were short and specific, so the listed changes were limited to the items below.
New characters and story content
The release notes named two new characters: Vesna and Vodyanitsa. They also said there were new Archon Quests under the “New Story” section.
No further details were provided in the notes about their roles, elements, abilities, or quest structure, so those points remained unspecified.
Events and reward content
The update introduced new reward events, including “Tabletop Troupe: A Gathering on Adventure’s Eve” and “Rainbow’s End: Resplendent Starlight”, plus “more” reward events that were not individually named.
It also listed a version event called “Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon”. Because the notes did not explain how these events worked, players only knew the event names from the release information.
Weapons and enemy additions
The release notes added two new weapons: Beyond the Chrysalis and Hymn of the Maelstrom. They also listed one new enemy, Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow.
As with the other entries, the notes did not describe stats, rarity, drop sources, or encounter details.
Miliastra Wonderland updates
The update also included Miliastra Wonderland Updates with new Manekin Cosmetics and a new Lobby. The release notes did not say how many cosmetics were added or what the lobby changes looked like.
That made this section the vaguest part of the changelog, but the developer did clearly confirm both additions.
Who it affects, file size, and Android requirement
This release affects players on Android who want the latest version of the game, including anyone following the anniversary build on APKDown. The file size is 2.8 MB, and the minimum Android requirement is Android 5.0.
It is a universal build, so it is not limited to a specific architecture. The game also supports optional in-game purchases, including random virtual items, according to the app description.
Should you update now and how to get it from APKDown?
If you want the new characters, quests, events, weapons, and Miliastra additions, updating now made sense. If you were not interested in the listed content, you could wait, since the notes did not mention bug fixes or performance changes.
